About TikTok

TikTok, owned by ByteDance, is the short-video platform, and its analytics.tiktok.com domain runs the TikTok Pixel used for ad measurement.

The pixel reports page visits and events back to TikTok so advertisers running TikTok campaigns can measure conversions, setting cookies such as _ttp to tie a browser to a TikTok user for that purpose.

Users with a TikTok account can limit ad personalization in the app's own settings.
